Dinner with the Best!

This past semester has been a tough one. I've dealt with a lot of hard emotional and family issues, but one thing remained stable through it all: my amazing friends.

Last night we all went to dinner and celebrated our friendship and the end of a successful school year.

And here we are: Stephanie, Catherine, Kate, Olivia, Maggie, (me), and Rachael. Thank you guys so much for an amazing year!! Love you all so very much!

Adorable picture of Rachael and her precious boyfriend:

Same picture, only with a vintage flair:

The girls that I'm going to be living with this summer!! :)

Stephanie and her precious boyfriend:

Me and my future roommate!

And of course, the boyfriends had to give a quick prom pic for us... Thanks Chris and Daniel. You've just provided many people with a laugh :)

I'm praying for those who are still in exams (including myself...)! Thanks for the love and support! I look forward to this summer and next year!! xoxo!!

As for today's workout: I needed a rest day :) But tomorrow my goal is to run and do some HIIT training. well see how it goes!

  1. Lauren, I just found your blog and I am in love with it! My family farms peanuts, so a) the name of your blog reeled me in! b) I am just starting to run races and am truly inspired by your running habits and c) go you for your healthy lifestlye, girl!

I just ran my first 10K and am running another one in 2 weeks. I've been struggling to find a good running routine to train and also to find good shoes to wear. I can't wait to follow along with you on your blog!

    1. Oh I'm so glad you like it! :) A peanut farm?!?! That seriously sounds like my kind of heaven...

I'm so excited that you started running! I feel so much better after I've gone on a run (although I can't always say I feel amazing during it... haha) I recently began minimalist running, and in turn I don't experience anymore knee pain! This is super encouraging for me because long runs used to cause me incredible joint pain. I'm looking to do a blog post on this in the near future.

If you have any health/running/lifting questions, feel free to ask! I will try my best to answer!!

  2. Glad you had the chance to celebrate. It's always nice to take a break from things.
